Roland Etzin discovered himself a field recorder back in 1997. He published radioplays and sounddocumentaries. Together with Lasse-Marc Riek he founded and runs the gruenrekorder label, one of the scarce labels in the world that specialises in field recordings.
His last work was a sound reportage/composition on the Street of Gibraltar, a work that I liked enough to invite him.
Roland will play on the Day of the Travelogues, February 9 in Club der Polnischen Versager. He will present sounds from Cardiff and surroundings.
